A bright, welcoming kitchen and dining space refreshed to make everyday living more enjoyable, without changing a layout that already worked well. The kitchen needed to retain plenty of worktop space for cooking and baking, while the adjoining dining area had to make the most of a small footprint and still accommodate occasional guests.

Glossy white cabinets were replaced with a soft, matt green, paired with lightly speckled white granite worktops and a matching backsplash. A wine rack makes use of an otherwise awkward gap, while natural wood, rattan, plants and colourful details bring warmth and personality. In the dining area, an extendable table provides flexibility without taking up unnecessary space, complemented by movable seating, colourful artwork and layered lighting.

The result is a fresh, characterful space that feels brighter, more cohesive and easier to live in — showing how thoughtful changes to finishes, furniture and details can transform a home without starting from scratch.
