About us
Hello and welcome, I am Angela. I founded Studio Patrì with a simple belief: a beautiful home isn't truly well designed unless it makes your everyday life better too.
I'm particularly drawn to spaces that require a little more thinking: smaller homes, awkward layouts, rooms with multiple purposes and homes that need to adapt as life changes.
My belief is that good interior design isn't always about having more. It’s about looking at what you already have, finding the possibilities within it and creating a beautiful home that reflects you.
The story behind Studio Patrì
Studio Patrì is named after my mum, Patrizia — Patrì to the people closest to her.
Growing up, I watched her constantly rethink our home. Whenever she felt stuck or simply needed a change, she would move the furniture. A table would find a new corner. A room would be rearranged. Things we already owned would be used differently. And somehow the whole space, and the way it felt, would change.
“When you're feeling stuck, move the furniture.”
It's a simple idea, but one that has stayed with me.
Our homes aren't static because our lives aren't. The way we live, work, relax and spend time together changes, and sometimes our homes need a little help catching up.
That idea sits at the heart of Studio Patrì: seeing the potential in the space you already have and finding thoughtful ways to make it work better for the life you're living now.
Italian roots, London living.
My Italian upbringing has shaped the way I think about home.
For me, a home has always been somewhere to retreat to. With family around the table. Friends staying longer than planned. Everyday life is happening all around you.
I love beautiful things, quality materials and spaces with personality, but I don't believe in creating perfect rooms you're afraid to live in; homes are meant to be interactive.
Living in London has added another dimension to that philosophy: an appreciation of just how valuable space can be. When every square metre counts, design has to do more than look good. It has to be clever.
Studio Patrì brings those two perspectives together: Italian warmth and character with a practical understanding of how to make the most of city living.
My approach to design
I don't believe your home should look like an interior designer has imposed a signature style on it. That’s why getting to know you and understanding not just what you want your home to look like, but how you want it to feel is an important part of the process.
My own design sensibility is warm, layered and characterful. I love colour, texture, art, natural materials and mixing old and new pieces to create spaces that feel collected rather than decorated.
But your home should ultimately look and feel like you. So before I think about colours, furniture or finishes, I want to understand how you live.
What do you love about your home? What frustrates you? What needs to change? And how do you want to feel when you walk through the door? From there, we create a home that is beautiful, distinctive and one that you will feel genuinely easier to live in.
